Honey Run Water Obstacle Fundraiser
As part of the Michigan eventing family, you are familiar with and have likely
visited and/or ridden at the Honey Run TEAM easement in Ann Arbor, MI. The
Eventing Association of Michigan (TEAM) and its members are very fortunate to
have this site for our use. This property is the home of TEAM and USEA Horse
Trials, Pony Club functions, schooling, and many other eventing educational
activities. Like any property with permanent jumping fxtures, the easement is in
constant need of maintenance and upkeep to maintain a safe environment for those
who use it. Currently the water jump on the easement property desperately needs
to be rebuilt, hence the purpose of this letter. This signifcant project comes with
signifcant cost – far more than the construction of other jumps. Therefore, TEAM
has undertaken the solicitation of funds to get this effort “up and off the ground!”
If all TEAM members, past and present, were to contribute something to this
initiative we would be well on our way to a new water complex. We would also
ask for your help in promoting this need to non-TEAM, but interested parties.
TEAM currently holds a 501(c)(3) status meaning your entire donation will be tax
